Easily repair kitchen counter tops, cabinets, or any plastic laminate such as wall paneling, furniture, or desktops with the Fix A Chip Repair Kit. There are dozens of repairs you can do in your car, truck, SUV, boat or RV.
If you like to repair or restore furniture, or you have chipped Wilson Art, Fix A Chip Repair Kit is just what the doctor ordered!
Fix A Chip Repair Kit comes with seven colors and a mixing chart to help you match any color. Simply mix the repair compound to the desired color, apply on the damaged area, and allow to dry. It doesn't get any easier than that! After the repair has dried, lightly sand if desired. Then apply the clear finish over the repair, and allow it to dry overnight. Our special repair compound will turn into a hard plastic finish, almost identical to the original. Fix A Chip Repair Kit has enough material to do up to 12 repairs!
Here is another reason we love the Fix A Chip Repair Kit and you will too...the kit can also match woodgrain and antique colors. |

Fix-A-Chip Instructions
For repairing minor damages in wood and plastic laminate materials.
PREPARE THE SURFACE
Clean off the damaged area to be repaired. Remove any rough edges or splinters by carefully
sanding with a light-grained sandpaper. Countertops may not require sanding.
MIX THE COLORS
The repair colors are intermixable. Using the color match guide, mix colors to desired color using the
enclosed mixing bottle and spatula.
APPLY THE COMPOUND
Fill the color matched compound into the damaged area, as evenly as possible. It is best to apply the
compound in layers, allowing each layer to completely dry before applying the next layer. Two or
three layers may be necessary. Once completely dry, sand smooth with a very fine sandpaper, if
necessary.
GETTING A TEXTURED FINISH
On the final layer, if a grained or textured finish is desired, place the closest matching grain paper
(paper marked side up) on top of the wet repair compound, press in, and place a possible. Allow to dry overnight, then simply peel off the grain paper when dry.

| Q: Do these kits really work?
A: Absolutely! Our repair compound is specially formulated to produce the best possible results for the home user. For best results, we highly recommend you practice doing several repairs on a scrap piece of similar material before trying the actual repair.
Q: Is it hard to match the colors in the kit to my wood cabinets or formica countertop?
A: As with any DIY project, practice makes perfect. The more you practice before attempting the actual repair, the better your results are likely to be. We've included a comprehensive color matching guide with every kit to help guide you to a near-perfect color match. However, the final match is up to you. Once you think you have your best possible match, we recommend you apply it to a small, inconspicuous area of the material you need to repair. For example, a scrap piece of similar wood or formica, or in a "hidden" corner of flooring, perhaps in a corner at the base of a kitchen cabinet. Testing your color match first in this way will help ensure you're satisfied with your color match on the actual repair.
Q: Are these the same kits that I've seen on As-Seen-On-TV Commercials for years? Are they made by the same manufacturer?
A: No. While our product is sold through some As-Seen-On-TV vendors, we are an independent manufacturer who has developed improved formulas for low-cost DIY repair solutions versus what has previously been available from the original "As-Seen-On-TV" manufacturer. |
